I joined Slimlines in March of this year and within7 weeks I had reached my goal weight. I only needed to lose a stone but felt that if I didn't do something about it I would just get bigger and bigger.
I was a bit embarrassed at first as there were quite a few people who needed to lose a lot more weight than me, but Lyn made me feel really welcome and told me a lot of people wished that they had caught their weight when they had only a stone to lose.
I really enjoyed the free day programme, it was great to go out at the weekend and not feel guilty. The meetings were really good fun but Lyn always talked about nutrition, bringing in quick and easy recipes, taste ins, and down to earth talks about exercise.
I now feel more healthy, fit and active than I did before and a lot more knowledgeable about how to lose and most importantly of all to keep my weight off!
Chris' tip:- get some of the nutritional scales, they are brilliant.
