When people hear the word 'recipe' they immediately think 'too much like hard work' or I haven't got time to mess around' or I can't cook!!' Everyone makes a 'recipe' when they cook a meal!
And if you can read you can do a recipe!!
In the following pages we would like to show you some really quick and easy recipes including recipes we made in the meeting 'ready steady cook' style!
We have also included some recipes from the members themselves plus you will find some more recipes and tips from the members who have reached their target weight. Remember, food puts you weight on but food will also lose you weight. At the slimlines meetings, the emphasis is on how to use your weight loss options in the most economical and productive way, giving you tips, for exampe busy working people, busy mums and dads, those who 'don't like to cook', vegetarians, gluten/dairy free ideas etc, and we are having great weight losses!! We sell cookbooks in the meetings and on the web site to help you with your weight loss, but remember, they have to be used in order to help you get that weight off!!
Here at Slimlines we are always trying to source new cookbooks for you to try, encouraging you to look after yourself and get a love of good food. We passionately believe in enjoying your life to the full, and showing you that you can lose weight at the same time! But at the end of the day, its you who has to want to change, its you who has to take a good look at how you are eating and why you are putting weight on, its you who has to have a passion for getting back your life again, and its you who are in control of your weight loss not anyone else.
