My weight
was creeping up slowly and with
only six weeks to go before my
sons wedding, I decided to join
Slimlines at
Auckley. Sarah Wilson (no
relation by the way!) runs this
group and we have such a good
time on Tuesday evenings. I
needed to lose at least half a
stone in the six weeks, I have
now been going for three weeks
(only 3 weeks to go now before
the wedding!) I have already
lost eight pounds and feel so
much better for it! Well done

| I have been
a member for a couple of weeks
and i really enjoy the class its
very informative and
entertaining. Even though its
taking me a while to get into
the programme. I still look
forward to going to the meetings
and staying. Sarah is a
brilliant manager, she gets us
motivated in different ideas she
brings to the class. She doesn't
make you feel bad if you haven't
lost any but encourages to
continue with the programme. She
is very open about her own
weight loss and this helps me to
continue with the plan has i
have tried other slimming
classes. The website is brill
and i always look forward to it

lines to say thank you so much
for your wonderful diet
programme. I like a lot of your
members have tried them all, you
name it I've been on it!. I have
been attending your classes for
only one month and have already
lost 10lbs!!! I am delighted.
What's more it does not feel as
if I am dieting. Your programme
is easy to follow and allows
those oh so important FREE DAYS
where I can enjoy a meal out or
more drinks than is good for me
and not feel guilty or that I
have 'blown it' and STILL lose
weight at the end of the week. I
have a long way to go but it no
longer seems an uphill struggle.

Hi, very
good website. Colourful,
interesting with loads of
information. I have enclosed a
recipe of my Mums homemade spicy
stew. I made it at the weekend
and gave it to Nicky & Sarah to
try and they liked it. Its low
calorie and has a kick to it.

I have known Lynne
Mulligan for approx 10 years, through
being one of her members at other
slimming venues. Like many people Iose
weight then put it back on, as I say, my
problem is, I either comfort eat when
stressed, or contentment eat when happy,
and of course always the wrong type of
food and too much of it. So yet again I
have joined up, two weeks ago, I lost
one and a half pounds first week and
three tonight, I feel more determined
than I have for a long time, Lynne is a
very committed leader and motivator, and
the diet is so simple but nutritious.
I am aiming at loosing a stone for Xmas,
and the little black number which at
present is a little tight, is going to
make me look a sexy babe at the Xmas do
(positive mental attitude).
Lynne has a lovely friendly personality
and devoted to her work and clientel, if
the diet doesn't work its because the
same as me - you just haven't stuck to
it.
Good luck Lynne you deserve it.

to say thanks for the help
whilst on this diet. When it was
first mentioned that me and my
sister nicky should try
Slimlines my answer was (i'm not
paying somebody to weigh me, and
I can diet in my sleep i have
been on that many) But we
decided to try it, at first I
just thought yeah whatever, but
the weight did start shifting.
And i thought this is actually
going to work, so i started
really getting into it. And
coming to your classes; well
what can I say, we just laugh
from beginning to end, and you
give us all the confidence and
the motivation that we need to
continue the good work.. so
here's to that next stone and
those little black numbers at

Myself, my
sister Sarah and our step Mum
Heather joined Slimlines in June
2006 and we have had a steady
weight loss since then, I have
lost 18 pound, Sarah 21 pound
and Heather 20 pound. The
programme definitly works for
us,some weeks we could have done
better but we keep attending
meetings and always come away
with the encouragement and
determination to try harder.
Since then, 5 other friends of
ours have joined Slimlines with
us! We are actually enjoying
this diet and I never thought I
would be able to say that about
a diet. The thing that I
personally like about it is that
I have never felt deprived, if I
fancy it, I have it and I count
it in my calories. That way I
never feel like I'm missing out.
I also feel very at ease with
Lyn and I think that makes a big
difference. I have Spinabifida
and not a great deal of
confidence, walking into a room
full of strangers is a big thing
for me and right away I felt
comfortable, so not only have I
met some new friends, I've got
another night out on my social
calender (Because we go out for
a meal afterwards!) and I'm
losing weight too! What more can
you ask for. I would recommend
this programme to anybody who's
interested in losing weight.!

Just had a
look at the web site and WOW I
think it's great. The stories
are really good and
inspirational and that comes
from some one who comes to class
and hears them first hand. But
to read them makes me feel "I'm
gonna do this. You are a true
inspirational person who makes
us all (I'm sure I speak for
everyone) feel that we will get
there in the end. I leave class
every week with a renewed faith
